Itinerary and highlights
Come explore the beauty and wildlife of Texas! Alligators, Deer, 300 Species of Birds and many more reptiles and mammals are abundant. If you are briefly in Houston this half day tour is the perfect way to escape the concrete get into the beautiful Cedar and Elm Forests, Oxbow lakes and lush southern forest, wetland and prairie ecosystems. This Nature Tour takes 2 short trails through the park to view the best of these ecosystems with the highest chance of seeing animals, also a trip to a high observation deck and the Nature Center. So get ready to experience Texas’s wonderful natural world and learn a lot about Texas and it’s wildlife 🙂
Meeting and pickup information
- Please be ready 10 minutes before your tour time. We have a 20 minute pickup window, So we may be as early as 10 minutes before or as late as 10 minutes after. While we have to be quite strict on places to pick up for the Tour we can be a little more flexible with drop-off at the end of the tour. The driver will arrive in a White Ford Passenger Van marked with Sunnyside Expeditions. Please meet outside the Lobby in the covered pull-through.
